    • 2021 Chateau Garland Bordeaux Supérieur France $16 This wine comes from a family-owned estate on the right bank of Bordeaux just north of Pomerol. Smooth and elegant with a core of dark autumnal fruits scented with mulling spice, flint, and coffee, alluring with warm rich flavors of Luxardo cherry and black currant jam; this wine shows breadth and depth well beyond its modest price. "Baby Petrus!" A sleeper.
    • 2021 Browne Heritage Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley $16 This wine displays a pleasing mix of elevated acidity, silky tannins, and restrained alcohol. Aromatically, it is a heady mix of blackberries, straw, and oily, dark-roasted coffee beans.
