  • Santiam Wine & Bistro 2021 May Red Cheap & Cheerful $74.70 Repeating six of our Covid year favorites!
    • 2017 Red IQ Washington State Red $14 RED I.Q. is a collaborative side project that is the brainchild of Art North and Robert Henry, the duo behind the highly acclaimed wines from Pamplin Family Winery. Our goal is to craft a wine that over-delivers on quality at a very consumer-friendly value. We strive to create a wine that will be the standout star for a restaurant glass pour and is the go-to choice for an everyday wine at home. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec; the combination is a winner. Styled and structed with bright berry, vanilla, and a complex layered finish.
    • Notebook WA 15 NV Columbia Valley Red Wine $11 31% Cabernet, 24% Syrah, 23% Merlot, & 22% Malbec A fruit driven wine, notes of coffee, leather and chocolate cover the palate and provide complete enjoyment.
    • 2019 Torremorón Tempranillo Spain $14 Torremorón, made in DO Ribera del Duero, is an example of how much can be done when you start with beautiful raw material. Walking up the hill to the town square here is a trip back in time; fewer than 90 people live in this tiny village, and 85 of them work at the winery ... the other 10 work at the bar. This is the extent of the commerce in this town, where every family still maintains subterranean cellars for wine that go stories beneath the ground into the cool limestone and winemaking centers around the 100+ year old, bush trained Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) vines that are the lifeblood of this area. The high desert climate has enormous diurnal shifts, which combined with the limestone soil and elevage in stainless steel, make for a wine of intense freshness and purity. When you taste Torremorón, there is no “makeup” - just the unadulterated expression of old-vine Tempranillo that lets you drink like the locals do. Here, the fresh, red berried, mineral character of Ribera shines with a slightly spicy, minty note. This is one of only a few Ribera wines where you can taste the “cut” and chewy, juicy Tempranillo flavors unburdened by oak. A crisp fruited wine with structure and substance, it's neither light nor unduly heavy. This would pair well with Thai beef salad, marinated Korean BBQ pork, Peking duck and meat or chicken dishes with a piquant play of spices.
    • 2017 Brick Mason by Klinker Brick Red, Lodi $15 This blend is comprised of 80% Zinfandel, 10% Syrah, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petite Sirah. Deep red fruit aromas lead into notes of dark cherry with soft tannins and a velvet finish.
    • 2016 Cana’s Feast Two Rivers, Oregon $15 35% Merlot, 29% Cabernet Franc, 26% Cabernet Sauvignon Aromas of sweet plum, cherry, and blackberry precede hints of fresh herbs and licorice root. A rich, full-fruited entry is balanced with notes of cocoa, dark coffee, and subtle savory nuances. Mature tannins integrate nicely with ripe fruit to provide a long, focused finish.
    • 2019 Li Veli Passamento Salice Salentino Puglia, Italy $14 Another classic Salice Salentino from Puglia and Li Veli, Lots of Cherry with oak and chocolate notes. Goes well with a cheese fondue/ Luscious, dark, and medium. A wine made in heaven Bon Appetit!

  • Santiam Wine & Bistro May White Cheap & Cheerful Six-pack $64.80
    • 2020 Pike Road Pinot Gris Oregon $12 Pike Road Pinot Gris is made from 100% Willamette Valley fruit. Primarily grown on our estate vineyards, the wine also includes smaller lots of fruit grown by our longtime, trusted partners here in the Willamette Valley. We believe this “multi-vineyard” approach results in a more complex, flavorful wine.
    • 2019 El Coto Rioja Blanco, Spain $11 A pretty white, offering sliced green apple and melon with some salt and dried lemon. It’s medium-bodied with lovely fruit and a fresh finish. Drink now. 92 Points James Suckling

    • 2019 Klinker Brick Albarino Lodi, California $15 Aromas of stone fruit burst from the glass and lead into a rich midpalate with rounded flavors of white peach and generous minerality. The finish is bright and clean with notes of lemon and citrus.  Food Pairing Notes. Try Klinker Brick Albariño with washed rind cheeses, vinaigrette dressings, spicy meat rubs or anything fresh from the sea!
    • 2018 Notebook Chardonnay WA $11 Fantastic aromas of golden apple, pear, with a delicate floral note and hints of buttery croissant. Tasting this wine, you feel bright and youthful acidity on the palate with flavors of Nectarine, bruled Peach, and citrus. Although zesty and fresh, this wine finishes rich and dry. It's a deliciously affordable wine that is meant to be consumed for everyday enjoyment. Enjoy this on its own or while dining al-fresco.
    • NV Blanc Pescador Mediterranean White $12  This delicious Vino de aguja, lightly sparkling wine, is blended from 60 Macabeo, 20 Xarello, 20 Parellada and come from Girona, near Barcelona.
